S.O.F.A Youth Sports Projects
Within our youth sports projects we will aim to provide a high-quality environment for every young person – whatever their age or ability. We will also put the policies and procedures in place to safeguard our young players.
We have already shown that sports can deliver against important national targets on health, physical activity, social inclusion and community cohesion. Now we want to challenge our strategic partners to work with us to invest in our local community and young people.

Coach Eduction Project:
No qualifications are required to start any of our coaching courses, and there are no exams to sit at the end. The Sports Leader Awards and Coach education Project get you involved in learning by doing. You actually lead sports and physical activity as a volunteer as part of the course. You learn how to organise and motivate yourself and other people, and improve your communication skills. This can really boost your confidence and help you in work, education and life. A Sports Leader Award is a nationally recognised qualification and can help you get a job or get into further education.
